Job Duties:

• Observe swimming activities and safety of the public to comply with safety guidelines.

Job Requirements

The Endpoint Security Engineer (ESE) will work in collaboration with the Enterprise Technology Asset Management (ETAM) Team during Phase 1 of the county-wide laptop/desktop replacement project. The ESE will be responsible for developing, hardening, and maintaining secure operating system images while implementing and enforcing security controls across all endpoint devices using tools such as Microsoft Configuration Manager, SentinelOne, Windows Defender, and Rapid7.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized operating system images that align with security requirements and organizational needs.
• Create automated deployment processes to ensure consistent image rollout.
• Implement secure baseline configurations within images following industry standards such as CIS benchmarks.
• Manage the image lifecycle, including testing, validation, and retirement.

Scheduled Milestones and Deliverables

• Coordinate with the project team on overall project milestones.
• Document existing image configurations and identify opportunities for enhanced security coverage.
• Create test plans for image validation and security testing.
• Deliver initial hardened image templates and configurations for the project.
